Mr Alois Schonberger elected Vice President of Eurocoton

On 18 June 2010 in Istambul, Turkey, during the EUROCOTON General Assembly Mr Alois Schonberger was elected the new EUROCOTON Vice President. (EUROCOTON - European Committte of the Cotton and Allied Textile Industries).
Mr Alois Schonberger, well-known on global markets international cotton trader – Companies POLCOTTON, Poland & COTTONEX Anstalt, Lichtenstein - originally traded in Eastern European countries, nowadays focusing in Far East including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Iran, China as well as Turkey
Connected with the Gdynia Cotton Association practically from the early beginning of his activity in the cotton sector – from 2004 he was elected to the position of the GCA Vice President of the Board.
From 2008 until today he works as a member of the Private Sector Advisory Panel (PSAP)at the International Cotton Adisory Committee in Washington, U.S.A.
Connected with the textile industry since 1935, The Gdynia Cotton Association is the non-profit, non- commercial international corporation of professional character whose members are almost 100 companies from 11 countries.
