Following the phenomenal success of its earlier Virtual Fairs, Fibre2Fashion launched a “Virtual Placement Fair 2010”, an Online Placement Fair, and facilitating recruitment process. This fair gives a prominent platform in bringing together employers who are looking for fresh talent out of Colleges which is proving to be a grand success.

This initiative from Fibre2fashion is to help build a bridge between education institutions and the textile, apparel and fashion industry to help institutions to get connected to top recruiting companies worldwide and bring to their notice, the creative talent of the students.

Many well-known and prestigious companies are choosing the right candidates from the ingenious pool of talent at the placement fair. This proves to be the best platform for networking and building relations, between students and the companies.

The fair is running successfully with 50 Companies and around 160 students. Present at the fair are the renowned and well reputed colleges in India, such as “Maharaja SayajiRao University”-Baroda, “Lovely Professional University”, Punjab and many more universities and colleges from across the country.

The Placement Fair provided the colleges with a reporting tool that will enable the colleges to view the recruiter's visitation report. Resumes of the short listed candidates were forwarded automatically to the respective placement coordinators for further process.

This fair is one of its kinds which is anticipated to take the industry by storm. It is planned for implementation until July 31st. Further virtual fairs of its kind are being contemplated.
