CPL prices up, while nylon chip trends dip

In Chinese market, Caprolactam (CPL) prices moved up by RMB 50 / ton and new prices assessed around RMB 19,200 / ton. Caprolactam prices moved up due to strong support of improved buying activity but on other hand, fully recovered downstream product market, restricts the price gains in the short term.
In China, Nylon chips prices moved down by RMB 100 / ton and new prices stood at around RMB 21,400. As an effect of positive movement in the upstream feedstock market, speculators strongly expected restocking activity and firming up of prices within short time.
Prices of Nylon POY and FDY prices moved down by RMB 200 / ton and new prices assessed around RMB 24,800 / ton and RMB 25,800 / ton. While, prices of Nylon DTY dropped around RMB 100 / ton and its newly assessed price around RMB 28,200 / ton.
