Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts to vacate its only outlet space in Mesa Mall by August 14, as per a deadline fixed for the same.
Public Relations Manager of Jo-Ann Fabrics, Lorraine Schuchart recently confirmed the fact that, the fabric store chain centred in Ohio, is putting down the lids of its only outlet in Grand Junction.
He also stated that, the company has no impending plans to launch a new outlet in the area and that the company does not have any more updates on the closure at this point in time.
The country-wide chain has 14 outlets in Colorado all of which are located at the Front Range excepting the one at Grand Junction. With closure of this Grand Junction outlet, the other nearest store is 233 miles from here in Spanish Fork, Utah.
However, it was noted that, a June investor presentation placed on the corporation's website speaks of the company's intentions to launch 300 new outlets over the period of next five years. But the same presentation also mentioned of the Corporations' intentions to close 30 outlets on an average, every year.
