Industry analysts had recently expressed that, China's imports of petrochemical products continued to decline in June, due to the influence of domestic economy cooling down and slowdown of industrial growth.
According to data from China Customs, China's ethylene imports fell sharply by 44 percent year on year, to 52,768 tons in June, while propylene imports fell 23 percent year on year, to 129,185 tons.
China's benzene imports plunged by 70 percent year on year, to 12,146 tons in June and toluene imports declined by 37 percent year on year, to 57,622 tons.
