Polyester / nylon composite filament trends calm

In the period between, July 26 and August 1, polyester / nylon composite filament appeared calm in Shengze market, price movement showed a consolidation state.
Market prices of polyester/ nylon composite filament DTY150D/36F × 16 and DTY160D/72F × 16 stood at 17,200 Yuan / ton and 17,000 Yuan / ton, respectively, slightly down from previous weekend.
Prices of DTY90D/75F × 16 and 75 D/36F × 16 were quoted at 23,200 Yuan / ton and 23,800 Yuan / ton, respectively, flat with the previous week.
In recent days, prices of caprolactam and nylon chips have risen, but its support to polyester/ nylon composite filament is still not obvious, besides which, market supply of polyester/ nylon composite filament is sufficient.
Although downstream demand has gradually recovered, downstream textile enterprises are not daring to invest in raw material in high volumes, which has resulting in insufficient off take of polyester / nylon composite filament.
