BRFL profits rise by 49.47%

Total sales at the textile company, Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited (BRFL), for the quarter ending June 30, 2010, rose by 49.47 percent to Rs 502.7 million from Rs 336.3 million, witnessed in the same period, last fiscal.
BRFL registered a 40 percent hike in its overall profit to Rs 521.7 million for the quarter ending June 30, 2010, over the corresponding period last fiscal. For the quarter ending June 30, 2009, the firm had recorded net profit of Rs 372.9 million.
