DCM posts five-fold profit growth in Q1

An over five-fold growth at Rs 56.7 million, has been reported by Textile firm DCM, in its profit for the quarter that ended on June 30. During the corresponding period last year, the company recorded a profit of Rs 10.2 million.

Also, during the first quarter of the current year, the total revenue of the company soared up to Rs 722 million from Rs 516 million in same period last year, recording a growth of 39.84 percent.

Cotton and synthetic yarns, textiles, electric data processing, aluminum and grey iron castings, and business machines are the products which the company produces and distributes.

DCM textiles operates a ISO 9001:2008 certified modern spinning mill located at Hisar, Haryana with a total installed capacity of 74,436 spindles.
