Exports of textiles and clothing from Turkey have surged in the first five months of 2010, in comparison to the same period of 2009.
These growth rates have come at a time, when other Asian competitor countries are struggling to achieve growth rates in the current year.
Exports from the sector grew by 4.3 percent year-on-year, revealed, Hikmet Tanriverdi, the head of Association of Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Textile Exporters.
