Authoritative Symposium on Yarn and Fabric be held in September

Global trade pattern, including purchasing habit of consumer and sales & marketing strategies of corporations, undergone enormous changes due to financial crisis. Exporting orders of China textile industry dropped sharply and hence the corporations shifted their focus to domestic market for survival.

Domestic competition is thus intensified which affected product selling price and corporate profits suffered. How to respond to the dramatic changes after the crisis and to promote industry upgrade and development becomes a hot topic of Chinese textile industry.

In view of this, organizers of QITMF have invited China Textile Engineering Society to organize professional symposium at the 11th China (Qingdao) International Textile Machinery Fair (QITMF 2010), which will be held in Qingdao International Convention Center on 15-17 September 2010.

Industry experts and professors will provide in-depth analysis of the current international economic situation; explain how to enhance product innovation & new technology application and to increase the core competitiveness of products, encouraging textile industry to grasp the opportunities for growth and development.

The symposium will be held on 16th September 2010 (2nd show day of QITMF) and it's free for show visitors and exhibitors. Details of speakers and topics as below:

1. Design & Material Innovation and Value Enhancement of Knitted Fabric -- presented by Professor Song Guang Li, School of Textile, TianJing Polytechnic University / Member of China Knitting Industrial Association Expert Technology Committee

QITMF is the largest textile machinery exhibition as well as major platform to showcase new products and facilitate information exchange among industrial players in Northern China. Numerous renowned exhibitors will participate to present their new products, including Chemtax Industrial Company Limited, Nan Sing Machinery Limited, Erhardt+Leimer (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd, Changshu Guosheng Knitting Machinery, etc. The influential exhibition together with the famous and authoritative speakers will surely make the symposium a remarkable one.

QITMF 2010 is jointly organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shandong Sub–council, Shandong Province Textile Industry Association, China Chamber of International Commerce Shandong Chamber of Commerce, Shandong Province Textile & Garment Association, Qingdao Textile & Garment Association, Qingdao Haiming International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd.
