Successful networking session at Outdoor Retailer

Aug '10
The FabricLink Network and Outdoor Retailer hosted another successful networking session at this summer's Outdoor Retailer trade show in Salt Lake Wednesday, August 4th. Free beer flowed, and innovative fabric clothing/product designs were drawn for prizes to the attending crowd.

Below are the prizes and winners with special thanks to our sponsors: CORDURA fabric; Concept III/Kingwhale; King Tech Ind., makers of HYGY/KTTEX; Chaos Headwear; Gramicci clothing with Natural Performance Technology; and Hyperbola. Check out the added value presentation page links for Concept III Textiles, CORDURA fabric, and HYGY/KTTEX performance fabric.

With close to 150 attending, The Textile Community Networking Happy Hour seeks to further nurture business relationships among manufactures and new designers each season. We thank Outdoor Retailer, Promostyl, and all the sponsors for a successful event.

As Academic Liaison for Project OR, FabricLink Network's founder Kathy Swantko contacts the five design schools that provide the Project OR student contestants for the design competition at each Outdoor Retailer Market. Swantko's team has been a fundamental contributor to the overall success of Project OR and the value built into the Design Center.
