Germany and Greece to present at MEXA MOSCOW

The MEXA MOSCOW is enjoying greater popularity in the fur trade than it has in a long while. Six weeks before the beginning of the fair the hall space has doubled in size over that of the previous year.

80 % international exhibitors
International companies in particular are displaying great interest in the MEXA MOSCOW, the leading international fur trade fair in Russia. 80 % of exhibiting companies are from abroad, primarily Germany, Greece, Italy, the USA, Hungary, Canada, Argentina and China.
Well-known companies such as American Legend, Emfasi, G&Z Collection, EGO Group, Meerstein GmbH, Panafix and Peterbursky Stil are presenting their products at the MEXA MOSCOW. In addition to manufacturers and wholesalers, the MEXA MOSCOW is also the place to meet suppliers of chemicals and accessories associated with furs.
Pavilions from Germany and Greece
As was the case last year, Germany and Greece will once again be present at the MEXA MOSCOW with national pavilions, underscoring the importance of the trade fair for the international fur sector.
Trade visitors to the MEXA MOSCOW primarily use their visit to place orders and purchase fur and leather goods. The fair therefore enjoys particular significance for Greek and German manufacturers and fur traders, because fur fashion from Germany and Greece is highly sought after in Russia.
Special Appeal: Fashion Shows and the Contest "Stars of the Kremlin – FUR" The daily fashion shows are also highly popular with trade visitors. Here the exhibitors at MEXA MOSCOW present their latest collections and the trends for the coming season.
Since 2009 MEXA MOSCOW has also offered a platform on which young talent can present itself: in the scope of the "Stars of the Kremlin – FUR" contest, which the MEXA MOSCOW organisers stage in co-operation with the Public Moscow University for Design and Technology, design students and young designers have the opportunity to present their first models to a broad trade audience. Main sponsor of the competition is the Danish fur auction house Kopenhagen Fur.
With more than 70 exhibitors and approximately 4,500 expert visitors the MEXA MOSCOW is the most important information and contact platform for the international fur industry in Russia. Producers and processors of ready-to-wear fur, fur traders and commission agents, furriers and service providers, suppliers of chemicals, machines and equipment present their products to high-ranking experts at MEXA MOSCOW.
The daily fashion shows, the attractive gala show from the Russian Fur Union as well as the designer contest “Stars of the Kremlin – FUR” are special highlights in the frame of MEXA MOSCOW 2010.
