Right time to buy CPL – Experts advice users

In Chinese market Caprolactam (CPL) price moved down and new price was assessed around RMB 21850 / ton.
Market experts believe that, if the downstream consumers of CPL have firm orders in hand, this is a good time to purchase, as during October and November, availability is expected to decline, due to planned outage in major producing countries like Japan and South Korea.
In Chinese market, Nylon chip price remained steady around RMB 24000 / ton. Few optimistic Asian sellers raised their offer to US $2910-2920 / ton, but no deal was reported at such high price.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices ascended and new prices stood at around RMB 26700 / ton, RMB 27800 / ton and RMB 29800 / ton, respectively.
In US, demand for nylon filament yarn remained lackluster with prices remaining stable and are also not expected to change appreciably over the next couple of months.
