Market Center Management Company (MCMC), the management company of GlobalTex: LA International Textile & Sourcing Fair, announced that the upcoming show will offer more resources than ever before, inspiring and fresh trend displays, and relevant and timely seminars. The show will be held September 28-30, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) in West Hall, Hall A.

“The fourth edition of GlobalTex will offer high-end resources from 25 countries,” said Cindy Morris, COO, MCMC. “The show continues to expand with key growth in denim and sublimation printing, innovative trend displays, and new matchmaking services.”

The growing list of countries and regions committed to show new resources at GlobalTex include: Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macau, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In addition to more international resources, GlobalTex will welcome a range of associations including: Associacao Selectiva Moda; China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT); Ningbo, a sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT); Indian Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council; Indian Silk Promotion Council; Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP); Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF); as well as many others.

In addition to trend displays, GlobalTex will feature the only HP Stoll flat knitting machine on the West Coast. Stoll is the driving force behind the innovative technology which has made many trends possible. Stoll machines are used in more than 70 different countries around the world.

“GlobalTex is the perfect venue for Stoll to display not only our state-of-the-art CMS 530 HP multi-gauge machine, but also raise awareness for our Stoll Fashion & Technology center in New York,” said Beth Hofer, senior manager, customer relations & educational resources, Stoll Fashion & Technology. “It serves as a great West Coast platform for our core concepts of training, sourcing, prototype sampling, and inspirational archiving.”

More than a dozen seminars and networking opportunities will be held during GlobalTex in the Seminar Suite conveniently located on the show floor.
