Strategic alliance between NICE and RITE Group

A strategic alliance was formed between the Nordic Initiative Clean and Ethical (NICE) and the RITE Group on the basis of a mutual consent to lessen the environmental impact of the worldwide textile industry as well as the fashion industry. NICE is a fashion-oriented ecological enterprise whereas RITE is a textile venture that was established in 2007.
NICE is a collective endeavor from the Nordic fashion industry to deal with the ecological as well as social matters. The Nordic Fashion Association (NFA) runs this project, with an objective to ascertain a clean and reputable fashion and textile sector in the Nordic region and also in other parts of the globe, where the organization's allies are engaged in business transactions.
According to Tone Tobiasson from NICE, the company has started a ten-year-plan, a code of conduct as well as an internet-based means to assist the course of action and to inform the common mass about the advancement made in this direction. The company also recognizes the significant role played by the RITE Group in maintaining good relationship with several larger brands and their dealers.
Phil Patterson – the chairman of the RITE Group, said that the group is highly satisfied with the effort of NICE in displaying eco-friendly clothing materials with attractive designs, which are capable of communicating the objective clearly. He further added that, the group looks for an opportunity to capitalize on similarities in each others' business networks, to speed up the development process in the textile industry. A lot can be achieved within a short period by means of joint collaboration with NGO's and Government bodies and exchange of information between the advisory boards of both the organizations.
