KVIC opens khadi sales in Erode

P Kumaravel Pandiyan, Collector In-Charge of Erode, Tamil Nadu revealed that the Khadi and Village Industries Department has set a target to generate sales revenue of Rs 13.8 million during the days leading to the Deepawali festival. .
He was speaking after inaugurating Khadi Krafts in Erode. He also informed that, last year in the same period KVIC had achieved sales of Rs 10.77 million against a target of Rs 9.2 million.
He also added by saying that to lure the customers, 30 percent discount would be given on khadi and silk goods.
