PX turns firm, MEG stays unchanged

Paraxylene price turned firm due to firm upstream market. In S E Asian market price was in the range of US $1080-1085 / ton. Downstream buyers still tried to pull down the price in the range of $1070-1075 / ton.
PTA price increased marginally with the help of firm upstream support. In S E Asian market, PTA was quoted around $950-955 / ton. Here too, buyers tried to pull down price below $950 / ton, but due to bullish demand, could not succeed.
Ethylene prices are still under consolidation stage and were assessed in the range of $1045-1050 / ton in S E Asian market.
MEG price was more or less unchanged at $860 / ton in S E Asian market. Sellers continued to quote at level of $865 / ton but could not found price acceptance.
