DyStar completes acquisition of Texanlab

DyStar has completed the acquisition of Texanlab Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. recently. With this, Texanlab becomes a fully owned Group Company of DyStar and will be an integral part of the DyStar Textile Services (DTS) team which also includes Color Solutions International, Expert Solutions and Ecology Solutions.
Texanlab has expertise in conventional and Restricted Substance List (RSL) testing of textiles and is the largest private textile testing laboratory in India. The recent relocation of two of its testing facilities to newly created premises in Navi Mumbai and Gurgaon will facilitate its growth and support future expansion projects.
“With the newly relocated and upgraded flagship laboratory in Navi Mumbai, we are confident that we are better positioned to service International Retailers and Brands who are sourcing for top quality and ecologically friendly garments in India,” says Simon Collinson, Director of DyStar Textile Services. “Moreover, we are glad to announce that Mr. Nimkar will continue his service with us, and I am sure his experience and wealth of knowledge in the field of textile testing will support and help the development of our future expansion plans,” he adds.
Ullhas Nimkar is now Ambassador Emeritus & Advisor of Texanlab where he will continue to focus on fostering new and old opportunities for Texanlab within the textile industry world-wide.
Founded in 1984, Texanlab offers accredited 3rd Party Quality Control Testing Services to the textile industry to over 40 International Retailers and Brands.
