CPL steady, nylon chip prices climb

Downstream buying intention remained firm in Benzene market. Asian Benzene price increased to $935 / ton. In Chinese domestic market, price was in the range of RMB 6800-6900 / ton and experts expect it touch RMB 7000 / ton in near future.
Price of Nylon POY, DTY and FDY were stable. In Chinese domestic market, it stood at RMB 27100 / ton, RMB 30200 / ton and RMB 28200 / ton, respectively.
Caprolactam (CPL) market was steady, as sellers kept their offers in the range of $2730-2750 / ton while buyers remained firm around $2720-2725 / ton. Price of Caprolactam in Chinese domestic market was quoted at RMB 22600 / ton. The market sentiment was steady, with stable negotiating atmosphere.
Price of Nylon chip increased by RMB 100 to RMB 24300 / ton in Chinese market. Offer price in Chinese market was in the range of RMB 23800-24500 / ton. In export market, price stood in the range of $2830-2850 / ton.
