ParAid acquires specialist textile supplier

Evac+Chair International, which has a sister company; ParAid Medical, has procured the property and workers of Telford-based APB Ltd's property and workers which is a specialist textile supplier. With such an acquisition, the company is now involved in trade as ParAid Textile Services (PTS) and focuses in manufacturing and supplying straps, harnesses as well as load restraints for the medical industry.
The company also manufactures textile products for an innovative Ambulance Child Restraint (ACR) of ParAid Medicals which is the only paediatric restraint for patient stretchers that can carry children of 5 kg to 45 kg. It is completely crash tested to CEN 1789 compliance levels.
These textiles meet highest standards of infection control and are washable in machines. ACR was first installed by the West Midlands Ambulance Service in UK, following which other companies in the country undertook this installation.
PTS also provides seats to IBEX Transeat, a flagship of Evac+Chair International. PTS also manufactures high-quality products for several other organisations.
