AWI initiates wool marketing drive in China

Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), which is a major wool marketing and development organization of Australia, has initiated a $1 million marketing drive for China.

One of the Chinese business channels will telecast a series of television programs which will be viewed by a population of over 60 million.

The television programs intend to promote wool, with the main focus on gent's suiting.

AWI expects that the television programs will boost the demand of the Chinese customers especially for the luxury products.

China is disposed to outshine the United States of America in 2015 and emerge as the largest consumer of luxury products in the entire world.

AWI considers China as its largest growth market and the drive is expected to involve the promotion of expensive fabrics from Europe and costume making brands.
