Paraxylene prices increased to US $1255-1260 / ton. PX imported from the Korean market stood at around $1250 / ton.
PTA offers increased by $20 to $1070 / ton but offers were mainly concluded around $1065-1070 / ton in S E Asian market and in Korean region it stood around $1065 / ton.
Ethylene market continued to move downwards due to problem of ample of availability and was assessed around $970 / ton in S E Asian market. In US market, price of ethylene was around 39.75 cents / pound. In European market, price was stable in the range of $1155-1160 / ton. In European domestic market, ethylene was stable around €945 / ton.
MEG market is growing at a slow and steady pace, In S E Asian market, price of MEG was around $970 / ton. In last two days prices have risen by $10 / ton. In S E Asian market, price was quoted around $965-970 / ton. In the Chinese domestic market, offered price was in the range of RMB 7750-7850 / ton.
