Yarn prices still moving northwards

Cotton procurement is becoming more difficult due to the soaring price of cotton, due to which cotton yarn price continues to grow in Hebei, Shandong and Henan provinces in recent times.
Some weaving factories have increased their purchasing quantities, as they see no signs of brakes on rising cotton price, which has now led to an increase in frequency in flare-up up cotton yarn prices.
Currently mainstream price of 32s carded cotton yarn has risen to 35500-36000 Yuan / ton; higher offers from some manufacturers have exceeded 40,000 Yuan / ton.
The price of polyester staple fiber has remained stable in recent times; however, polyester / cotton yarn prices continue to increase, due to higher cost of cotton. Mainstream price of P65/C35 32s is ruling at 26000-27000 Yuan / ton, while higher offers have reached 28,000 Yuan / ton.
Prices of viscose staple fiber continues to rise sharply, as supply are tight, resulting in rising price of rayon yarn. Currently the lower level of R30s is 29,500 Yuan / ton; while mainstream price has reached 30500-31000 Yuan / ton.
