Momentive-Kothis to develop high performance athletic gear

Momentive Performance Materials, a global leader in specialty chemicals and materials, has collaborated with Kothis, a technology specialist for textile printing applications, to develop high performance football gloves for optimal grip and control. Gloves used in American football help create a traction that makes it easier for players to grasp onto the football, especially in cold or wet weather conditions.

Momentive's custom elastomers are made-to-order, ready-to-use silicone rubber compounds that are produced to meet customers' varying but specific cost, durability and performance standards for a variety of applications. Momentive's custom portfolio is extensive and represents some of the most recent silicone innovations used in the aerospace, construction, consumer product, electronics, healthcare and other industries.
