CMC & Lenzing renew deal for S/S 2012 LA TEXTILE Show

Los Angeles International Textile Show (LA TEXTILE) and leading fiber innovator Lenzing will continue to partner for the “Lenzing Innovation Pavilion,” a showcase of Lenzing affiliated exhibitors and products geared towards the West Coast Market. The upcoming LA TEXTILE show will take place March 28-30, 2011, at the California Market Center (CMC) for Spring/ Summer 2012.

“After a successful launch of the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion at the September LA Textile Show, we are excited to continue working with the CMC and the Lenzing partner mills again for the March show. The evolution of the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion will enable designers and buyers to view a full array of Lenzing products within one area,” said Tricia Carey, Merchandising Manager, Lenzing.

This will mark the second time Lenzing has partnered with LA TEXTILE. The first was during the Fall/Winter 11/12 Show which ran September 27-29, 2010. Exhibitors who utilize Lenzing fibers in their products will be featured in an expanded showcase of booths and showrooms on the LA TEXTILE Show floor, located in the CMC Penthouse (13th floor).

Lenzing's fibers include three generations of man-made cellulose fibers: Lenzing Viscose, Lenzing Modal and TENCEL lyocell. Some of the new fiber innovations are ProModal , a unique blend of Modal and TENCEL , and Viloft , the thermal viscose.

Renowned textile companies who participated in the Lenzing Pavilion this past Show included: Design Knit, a manufacturer of knit-to-order textiles specializing in high quality sheer and light weight fabrics; Manoir Inc., a North American manufacturer of circular knits made with eco-friendly fabrics; Fessler USA, a producer of over 300 fabrics catering to the private label, custom order apparel sector; and Laguna/ Enviro Fabrics, a knitter with a diversified line of fashion and novelty knits.

“We are excited to see the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion return in an expanded edition,” said Oscar Rodriguez, Show Producer. “The Pavilion will continue to provide LA TEXTILE attendees with a central location on the West Coast for finding specialized fiber resources from premier companies.”

The Spring/Summer 2012 LA International Textile Show will take place Monday – Wednesday, March 28-30, 2011 at the California Market Center. New Show hours will be 10:00am – 6:00pm on Monday and Tuesday and 10:00am – 5:00pm on Wednesday. LA TEXTILE features hundreds of resources for textiles, design and production from North America, Europe and around the globe, in addition to complimentary seminars, trend resources and more.
