China's imports of cotton yarn reached 80,400 tons in October 2010, a decline of 8.16 percent from the previous month, but an increase of 0.21 percent year on year, according to the latest Customs statistics.
Exports of cotton yarn fetched 32,000 tons in October, an increase of 6.05 percent from the previous month, but a decrease of 18.13 percent year on year.
From January-October 2010, China imported 899,800 tons of cotton yarn in total, an increase of 9.14 percent year on year and exports marked 443,400 tons, an increase of 2.26 percent.
