Benzene & CPL prices slip

Benzene price fell by US $5 to around $915-920 / ton in S E Asian market. In Chinese market, price touched the level of $915 / ton. In Korean market it was quoted in the range of $905-910 / ton.
Price of Nylon DTY was stable at RMB 32800/ton and that of Nylon FDY and POY too were steady at RMB 32000 / ton and RMB 29500 / ton, respectively. Price is expected to decline in near future due to weak upstream.
Caprolactam offers in Chinese market declined. In Chinese domestic market, it was assessed at RMB 22900-23000 / ton. CPL offers in Chinese spot market stood at $2800 / ton but traded in the range of $2780-2785 / ton. Market is expected to dip further.
Nylon chip remain unchanged in Chinese domestic market and price was around RMB 26000 / ton. In last one week, price of Nylon chip has remained stable at RMB 26000 / ton. In Chinese market, imported Nylon Semi dull textile grade chips were offered at around $3100-3150 / ton.
