The European Commission recently announced a ruling over the sunset review of anti-dumping investigation against China's polyester chips.
The Commission has decided to continue imposition of the anti-dumping duty on polyester chips imported from China, for a further period of five-years.
Chinese enterprises will be imposed an anti-dumping duty of €22-184 / ton during the period, while the anti-dumping rate of one company in Changzhou will be zero.
The European Commission had launched anti-dumping investigation against Chinese exports of polyester chips in May 2003.
It had announced its final ruling in August 2004 for a period of five years. Then the European Commission initiated sunset review of anti-dumping investigations in August 2009.
