Chinese yarn exports post incredible growth

Among top ten of China's yarn export markets, eight are Asian countries and the continent accounts for 73.17 percent of China's yarn exports. From January to October this year, China's yarn exports to Asia registered US $5.801 billion, an increase of 35.31 percent year on year.

The largest market was Hong Kong and China's yarn exports to Hong Kong reached $2.131 billion from January to October, an increase of 23.31 percent year on year, accounting for 26.88 percent of China's yarn exports.

China's yarn exports to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh were $440 million, $430 million and $270 million, representing an increase of 47.23 percent, 46.41 percent and 58.92 percent, respectively, year on year.

China's exports to ASEAN marked $727 million, an increase of 47.8 percent year on year, while exports to Vietnam realized $224 million, an increase of 125.87 percent year on year, to achieve the largest increase.

From January-October this year, China's yarn exports to the EU fetched $881 million, an increase of 52.27 percent year on year. Yarn exports to the United States have maintained high growth and in the same period, they realized $310 million, up 94.21 percent year on year.
