Offers for CPL steady

Offers of caprolactam for domestic supply and overseas supply were both steady on December 3, but transaction atmosphere was subdued. In RMB spot market, holders made a few offers at 23,100 Yuan / ton, while actual talking price was around 23,000 Yuan / ton.
The dollar CPL market was light, initiative offers were scarce and generally stood at US $2800 / ton and counteroffers were around $2770-2780 / ton, while actual discussing price was around $2780 / ton, actual negotiations were scarce.
In plant news, capacity rate of two plants under Baling Petrochemical is being fully utilized, while, Shijiazhuang Chemical Fiber kept the operating rate of its two new lines at 60 percent.
Near the weekend, overall performance of nylon chip market was stable. In high-speed spinning chip market, discussing price of Jiangsu produced supply was maintained at 25800-26000 Yuan / ton (to be delivered with acceptance).
Regarding semi-dull chips for high-speed spinning, the higher price of domestically made goods was around 26,700 Yuan / ton (to be delivered with acceptance), talking price for Taiwan produced goods firmed at US $3100-3150/ ton, real transactions were light.
In conventional spinning chip market, mainstream price in East China was quoted at 25300-25500 Yuan / ton, price in cash trade was around 25,400 Yuan in / ton in Central China, price in North China lowered to 25,000 Yuan / ton, general trade level was above 25,300 Yuan / ton.
Nylon filament market in Shengze was stable; inquiries were light, actual transactions reduced. FDY market price was stable, offers of 70D/24F dull was 33,200 Yuan / ton and 140D/48F was 31,500 Yuan / ton.
Market price of POY 86D/24F was 28,000 Yuan / ton, 85D/24F was 31,000 Yuan / ton and 85D/48F was 32,000 Yuan / ton.
