Gaining a Competitive Edge with Performance Testing at Outdoor
Dec '10
American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists - AATCC and SDL Atlas will present a free seminar about "Gaining a Competitive Edge with Performance Testing" at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market.

How do you know your textile product is better than a competitor's? How do your customers know? Whether you're selling fibers, fabrics, or end products, today's educated customers demand more than flashy marketing claims. They want to understand the performance features of the products they buy. And they want proof that they really work. The right testing provides the data you need to make your case.

Learn which textile tests are important in each product category, what testing is required by law, and what performance claims your results can support. Get a better understanding of how standardized tests let you compare products and what the results really mean.

Representatives from SDL Atlas and AATCC will speak and answer questions. This seminar is free of charge to all Outdoor Retailer attendees. It will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011, 9-10am, in the Deer Valley Salon at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

AATCC is the world's leading not-for-profit association serving textile professionals since 1921. AATCC, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., USA, provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for members in about 60 countries throughout the world.

The SDL Atlas Group of companies offers the largest range of textile testing equipment, laboratory products, consumable items, and support services available from a single source. Whether you need one instrument, an entire laboratory, or just guidance about the latest test standards, SDL Atlas can assist you anywhere on the globe.
