PTA, ethylene & MEG prices remain stable

Paraxylene market went up and price was in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. PX turned firm mainly due to support from energy market. Prices in Korean market were offered in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton.

PTA price was stable in Asian market. PTA price stood in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA offers remained firm and were in the range of RMB 9600/ton to RMB 9700/ton.

Ethylene price was stable in S E Asian and F E Asian market and quoted at US$ 1082/ton and US$ 1140/ton, respectively. Ethylene price was stable in European market as well and was assessed around US$ 1155/ton. In European domestic market, ethylene offers were around € 905/ton.

MEG price was stable due to moderate demand in market. MEG offers in S E Asian market were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In Chinese international market, MEG offers were assessed in the range US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton and in Chinese domestic market, it was around RMB 8250/ton.

Offers for BGPET Chip in S E Asian market were stable in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In Chinese domestic market, offers were in the range of RMB 11300/ton to RMB 11500/ton.

FGPET Chip was quoted in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1460/ton in the Chinese export market. In Indian market, offer was around US$ 1480/ton.
