Asian benzene prices up, stable in China

In the Asian markets, benzene market rose US $4 from the previous session to close at $977-980 / ton (FOB Korea) on December 10.
In the Chinese domestic market, condition was stable and market price stood at 7050-7150 / ton in East China, 7000-7000 Yuan / ton in South China and was quoted at 6950-7000 Yuan / ton in North China.
Market conditions of domestic benzene were steady, due to the influence of higher offers for overseas stock and oil prices, but downstream demand was light, trade volume was limited.
Market participants expect that short-term market of domestic benzene is likely to continue a consolidation trend.
