3rd National Congress on Textile & Clothing to be held in Central Iran

Developing and enhancing academic and research potential in the area of clothing and textile, extending opportunities to learn about the solutions to the industrial challenges, expanding research and scientific environment, developing a link between the researchers and entrepreneurs, familiarizing people with the capabilities of the Iranian researchers in the textile industry are the major objectives of the Third National Congress on Textile and Clothing, which is going to take place at the Yazd department of Islamic Azad University in the central province of Iran, during February, next year.
The University is to hold the Congress in cooperation with the Young Researchers Club during February 24 and 25, 2011. Further, the Congress also proposes to discuss the topic of application of nanotechnology in the textile industry. Moreover, other activities like educational workshops on textile and expositions portraying the achievements of textile industry would also take place along with the Congress.
