Output of man-made fibres witnesses hike in Nov

Output of man-made fibre in Japan for the month of November registered an increase of 7.3 percent to 81,581 tons over the production recorded in the corresponding month of last year, according to the information provided by the Japan Chemical Fibers Association. Out of this, the production of synthetic fibres witnessed a rise of 5.9 percent to 68,666 tons.

The production of nylon filament recorded a marginal increase of 0.4 percent to 8,028 tons, while acrylic staple fibre witnessed a decline of 7.2 percent to 10,526 tons. Production of polyester filament registered an increase of 4.5 percent to 14,888 tons, whereas that of polyester staple fibre rose by 2.1 percent to 12,452 tons.
