Conference: Towards sustainability in the Fashion & Textile industry

Towards sustainability in the Fashion and Textile industry conference will take place in Copenhagen April 26 & 27 (with possibility for a third day April 28) at the ultramodern Hotel Crowne Plaza (recently awarded EcoTourism Award as the worlds most “green” hotel) and is hosted by KEA design/business, Center for Responsible Design, and Dansk Fashion and Textile.

Each day will feature a presentation by a key-note speaker for about 45 minutes and other speakers will present throughout the day. Each speaker will have about 20 minutes to present and 10 minutes for questions.

We are planning to end each day at the conference with panel discussion to sum up all subjects/speakers. We invite all interested speakers to send abstracts focused on the Fashion and Textile industry within the following areas:

Manufacturing/production
Materials/new materials
Environmental issues
Certifications
New visions
Sustainability & CSR
Education

Deadline: Abstracts need to be submitted no later than January 16th.
