TDAP CoO form fee hiked abnormally

Giving a jolt to the already striving exporters, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has announced a 3900 percent rise in the fees for Certificate of Origin from January 1, 2011.

In accordance with several schemes like the Generalised System of Preference (GSP) and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), exporters from all the classes need to obtain this Certificate of Origin from TDAP, for exporting their goods.

The fee in respect of the form for obtaining the Certificate of Origin which initially used to be Rs. 25 per consignment per shipment has been raised abnormally from January 1, 2011 onwards.
