Wool prices post highest single day lift in 8 years

Wool sales witnessed the highest single day increase in price indicators over a period of eight years in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle, yesterday.
According to an expert, the market in Fremantle witnessed high fleece wool prices, going up by 200 cents per kilogram.
The prices for 18 micron 1775 went up more than 200 cents, the 19 micron 1470 soared over 195 cents whereas 20 micron 1140 variety went above 110 cents.
The prices for 21 micron 1080 witnessed a surge over 90 cents while that of 22 micron 1025 went up above 85 cents.
