Chinese T&C exports to ASEAN rise steeply

Economic recovery of ASEAN achieved more obvious momentum in 2010, due to which China's exports to ASEAN increased significantly.
China's textile and clothing exports to ASEAN reached US $1.69 billion in November, to hit the year's peak, representing an increase of 43.3 percent year on year, and a growth of 32.8 percent from the previous month, according to customs statistics.
Among them, yarn and fabric exports increased 50.1 percent year on year, yarn price grew 8.1 percent, while fabric price surged 24 percent.
From January to November, China's exports to ASEAN amounted to US $13.08 billion, up 37.8 percent year on year. Of which, exports of yarn and fabric were US $7.14 billion, an increase of 43.8 percent year on year.
The average unit price in the first 11 months of 2010 of yarn exports increased by 17.6 percent and fabric price increased by 9.4 percent.
