Serbian PM to inaugurate Novo Tekstil's new facility

Mirko Cvetkovic, Prime Minister of Serbia is to inaugurate the new facility of Novo-tekstil, a German firm successfully functioning in Serbia. The new facility – a textile plant, spread over an area of 1,000 square meters in Serbia's Vranje region would employ around 150 workers.

Predrag Golubovic, CEO of Novo-tekstil revealed that, earlier the factory was owned by the Devic-tekstil firm based in Teslic in the Republic of Srpska. He also revealed that, they would export the factory's entire monthly output to the Western European markets.

He said that, the factory in its first stage would hire 150 workers who would produce 60,000 units per day, which predominantly would be exported to Germany and other EU nations.

The factory would hire another 200 workers over the next few months and that they would be paid remuneration much above the average wage of the group.
