HP Govt approves 19 proposals with investment of Rs 7.8 bn

The Himachal Pradesh government recently approved 19 project proposals involving an investment of Rs 7.8 billion. These 19 proposals included 12 fresh proposals, while the other seven were proposals for expansion, which are expected to generate employment for 3,486 persons.
The new proposals included LSI Textile LLP with funding of Rs 570 million and Winsome Textiles Industries with funding of Rs 1.3683 billion, each of which is believed to generate employment opportunities for 1000 and 159 persons, respectively.
Further that, in spite of the fact that the Indian government had discontinued the Special Industrial Package subsidy, the State over the last three years has managed to attract investments worth Rs 150.3 billion by approving 3,754 industrial proposals with potential of generating 1,39,722 jobs, and thus the industrial investments have kept on flowing in increasingly.
