bluesign summit presented by ispo at ispo 11
Feb '11
With a brand new booth at this year's leading sporting goods tradeshow, bluesign technologies ag once again sends a signal of sustainability to the entire sporting goods industry. In the Entrance West area, the bluesign standard comes to life!

The ispo 11 bluesign summit is the result of a long-term and intensive cooperation between ispo and bluesign technologies ag. Together with a number of bluesign members and system partners that will be present at the bluesign summit in the Entrance West, the goal is to sharpen awareness for production processes that are more environmentally transparent and – above all – more economical regarding the use of resources.

Date: February 6-9, 2011
Location: ispo 11, Munich, Entrance West, booth 01

"We have been working with ispo for several years now, enjoying a mutual trust and a shared goal; we want to realize our vision of a sporting goods industry that practices resource efficiency and responsibility towards the entire supply chain – the environment, the materials, their workforce as well as the end-consumer," states Peter Waeber, CEO bluesign technologies ag. "I am very pleased that ispo is actively supporting us and the bluesign summit at ispo 11 to grow and expand the global bluesign standard network."

The new bluesign booth reflects the exact image of the textile supply chain. Experience today's industry situation on our educational path, showing the full truth of obvious and less obvious challenges for today's and tomorrow's textile industry. Then learn about the function and approach of the bluesign standard and our goal to help the textile industry and its suppliers establishing sustainable products without compromising functionality, quality and design.

At the bluesign summit, we explain the bluesign standard and connect visitors and exhibitors with bluesign system partners from the chemical and producing industries.

Daily workshops, disclosed case studies and practical examples by our partners will give you a detailed insight into the bluesign standard.
