Turkey's Sabanci Group revealed that all its workers who were engaged in its Egyptian plants had left Egypt for Turkey over the last weekend. The Group also stated that it will close down two of its units based in Egypt for a week as anti-government demonstrations have started taking place in Egypt since February 1.

The Sabanci Group owns an industrial fabrics and cords producing unit – Kordsa Global in Egypt. Now, the plant will have a break for one week. The Group will evaluate the law and order situation in the country before taking any decision to resume the operations in its Egyptian plants.
