Puebla textile sector attracts investment of $100mn

Luis Espinosa Rueda – the local President of the National Chamber of Industry, made an announcement that an investment of 100 million dollars will be made by a member of the chamber in order to establish a textile firm in the state of Puebla.

The advent of political transformation in the state has raised the prospects of investments as people now perceive better atmosphere for business, which is mostly associated with law and order stability that has improved over the period.

He further revealed that a number of companies have reinforced their decisions to make investments in the state of Puebla in order to construct new facilities, which are likely to contribute to the state's economy.

Francisco Rivera, who is going to set up the textile firm, said that the firm is likely to generate 400 direct employment opportunities in Puebla. The textile firm will be installed in the Textile City Industrial Park, situated in the town of Huejotzingo.

Luis Espinosa Rueda also added that Francisco Rivera, who is the current President of the clothing section of the National Chamber of Industry, will initiate the investment for this undertaking, which will specialize in the manufacturing of fabrics only. He said that Rivera is also the owner of the hosiery manufacturing company Taja Rivera.
