PTA, ethylene & MEG move up in tandem

Paraxylene prices were range bound in S E Asian region, at US$ 1630/ton due to weak upstream and hovered in the range of US$ 1630/ton to US$ 1635/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1630/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood in the range of US$ 1630/ton to US$ 1635/ton.
Asian PTA price went up to in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1445/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region quoted at US$ 1445/ton. In Indian market PTA price was around US$ 1475/ton.
Ethylene price shot up in S E Asian market and was quoted in the range of US$ 1185/ton to US$ 1190/ton. F E Asian price was in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In European international and domestic markets price was stable at US$ 1410/ton and € 1110/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market Ethylene was around 48.00 cents/pound.
MEG price went up in the global markets as Chinese market turned active. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG was in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1215/ton.
BGPET Chips price increased in S E Asian region and hovered in the range of US$ 1805/ton to US$ 1825/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1800/ton to US$ 1825/ton for imported goods. Sellers did try hard to find acceptance of these prices, but buyers firmly did not accept it.
FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1765/ton to US$ 1785/ton. Price in Indian market was assessed in the range of US$ 1770/ton to US$ 1780/ton. Price is expected to increase in Indian market.
