Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China, will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, from 18 – 21 March 2011. The four-day event, regarded by many as Southern China's complete home trade fair, will feature 180 exhibitors from 6 countries and regions including China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Turkey, and for the first time, Italy. These suppliers will present their latest collections of bedding, wall and window textiles, floor coverings, sofas, leather and upholstery fabrics on 20,000 sqm of exhibition space.

The fair is held together with the China International Ceramics Exhibition, the China International Furniture Fair, the China International Outdoor and Leisure Fair and Homedecor & Housewares China. In 2010, these events attracted over 155,500 professional buyers, which included home textile related importers, exporters, wholesalers, retailers, contractors, manufacturers and designers.

Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China's diverse pool of buyers draws new Italian exhibitor, Casa Valentia. “Given the growth rate of the Chinese economy, we expect our luxury range of curtains and roll-blinds will be of interest to the domestic importers, distributers, representative agents, furniture manufacturers and contract specialists attending the fair,”said Mr Maximilian Tomasoni, General Manager of Casa Valentia.

Suzutora, the internationally renowned home textile supplier from Japan, also wants to connect with domestic buyers at Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China. “Receiving thousands of local buyers, this is the perfect springboard to propel our business interests in China, especially in the southern parts of the country,” said company representative Mr Takuo Murata.

Five regional pavilions from China
China's fast-growing economy has created a rich business environment for domestic suppliers of home textile products. As a result, the fair welcomes regional pavilions from Haining, Jiaxing, Ningbo, Shaoxing and Yuhang.

Top domestic brands exhibiting in these pavilions include Fuhua (Jia Fu) Carpet Co Ltd, a leading carpet and rug manufacturer; Goldsun Holding Group Co Ltd, an internationally recognised producer of premium bed linens, blankets, bedding and down products; Haining Shunsheng Textile Co Ltd, which specialises in upholstery, sofa and curtain fabrics; and Tenhai Home Textiles Industry Co Ltd, which manufactures and export a wide range of soft furnishings to the Middle East and North America.

In addition to providing a comprehensive sourcing platform, visitors can keep abreast of the latest industry trends, as winning entries of the China International Home Textiles Product Design Competition, will be displayed across the flyover linking the China International Furniture Fair and Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China.

Intertextile Guangzhou Hometextile China is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, the China Home Textile Association (CHTA) and the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Corp.
