PX price consolidates, PTA & MEG dip

Paraxylene prices consolidated in S E Asian region, and stood around US$ 1640/ton due to firm upstream. Price hovered in the range of US$ 1640/ton to US$ 1645/ton. PX price in Korean market was marked around US$ 1640/ton. In Chinese market, PX price stood in the range of US$ 1620/ton to US$ 1630/ton.

Asian PTA price declined to the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. Price of PTA in F E Asian region was quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In Indian market, PTA price was around US$ 1475/ton. In Chinese market, price of PTA was in the range of RMB 11675/ton to RMB 11750/ton.

Ethylene price was stable in S E Asian market and was assessed in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255/ton. F E Asian price was in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In European international and domestic markets price was stable at US$ 1465/ton and € 1120/ton, respectively. In U.S.A market Ethylene was around 48.50 cents/pound.

MEG price went down in the global markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices hovered in the range of US$ 1260/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In Indian markets, price of MEG was in the range of US$ 1265/ton to US$ 1275/ton.

BGPET Chips price oscillated in S E Asian region, in the range of US$ 1835/ton to US$ 1850/ton. In F E Asian markets, selling offers was in the range of US$ 1830/ton to US$ 1850/ton for imported goods.

FGPET Chips prices in Korean markets were in the range of US$ 1785/ton to US$ 1800/ton. Price in Indian market assessed in the range of US$ 1770/ton to US$ 1780/ton.
