US Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner considers that China's decision makers had decided to allow the Yuan to rise, in case of inflation surge in China.
Geithner said at a hearing in the US Senate Finance Committee that he believes that China had reached an internal decision and that; China had no choice but to allow the Yuan to appreciate gradually.
He said that China would face the risk of further significant increase of inflation, if it did not do so; the risk would be bigger than the risk faced by the United States in financial crisis.
