Cristal Global announces TiO2 price increases

Cristal Global (Cristal) announced that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in North America and the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific sub-regions effective April 1st, 2011, or as contracts allow.

- In North America: Prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US fifteen cents per pound.

- In the Middle East and Africa: Prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $300 per metric ton and in North Africa by €225 per metric ton.

- In Asia Pacific: Prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $300 per metric ton. In Oceania, prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by Australian $300 per metric ton or by US $400 per metric ton in the US Dollar markets. An additional US $50 per metric ton will be applied to all sales of Tiona 188 grade sold within the Asia Pacific region.

The increases are in addition to earlier announcements.
