The last three days of the current week were very dull and Shankar-6 raw cotton price trends stayed stable thought out the last three working days of the week.
On the first day of the week, Shankar -6 jumped to Rs 59,125 per candy, up 1.07 percent from its previous closing.
On Tuesday too, it moved up, albeit marginally by 0.42 percent to Rs 59,375 per candy.
However on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the rally was short-lived, as Shankar-6 raw cotton prices stayed stable at Rs 59,375 per candy.
At the beginning of the week, there were expectations that, cotton prices would cross once again cross the psychological Rs 60,000 per candy mark, which however, did not prove true.
